We are providing this information as a resource to assist University of New Haven students and families as they navigate processes related to billing, financial aid, and registration. Fall 2025 Pre-Registration
Fall 2025 Pre-Registration Dates – All Beginning at 7 a.m.
- Graduate and Doctoral students – Monday, March 31st
- Seniors (87 credits and above) – Monday, April 7th
- Special Populations – Tuesday, April 8th
- Juniors (57 to 86 credits) – Thursday, April 10th
- Sophomores (27 to 56 credits) – Tuesday, April 15th
- First Year (0 to 26 credits) – Thursday, April 17th
For your convenience, Registrar’s Office staff will be available in the One Stop Office in Bergami Hall beginning at 7 a.m. on all registration days to support students with their registration process.
Students will be notified via email once the Fall 2025 course schedule is available in myÂ鶹´«Ã½ in Self Service Banner (SSB). Further information regarding pre-registration can be .

One Stop Pop-Up Hours
Have a question but can’t make it to our office? During the Spring 2025 semester, the One Stop is available for pop-up hours in different locations around campus. We will be able to answer quick questions or help to connect you with the resource you need. Here's where and when you can find us:

Class of 2025 – Save the Date!
Charge Out is an exciting opportunity for graduating students to pick up regalia for Commencement, sign up for celebratory events, and meet with campus partners to help ensure your success as you prepare to graduate.
The event will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 1 - 6 p.m. in the Beckerman Recreation Center, but you are not required to stay the full time. We encourage you to drop in when your schedule allows you to so that you can participate in this Â鶹´«Ã½ tradition.

2025-2026 Room Selection Reminder
Any continuing student interested in participating in the Room Selection Process must complete the following steps by Wednesday, March 19, 2025:
- Submit a $200 room deposit in ePay. (Please be advised, the room deposit is non-refundable/non-transferrable.)
- Complete the 2025-2026 Continuing Student Housing Application in the myHousing portal.
As a reminder, your student account must be in good financial standing before submitting your room deposit. If you plan on participating in the 2025-2026 Room Selection Process and have an unpaid balance on your student account, we advise you to visit our Spring 2025 Billing, Tuition, and Financial Information webpage to review your payment options. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions regarding resolving your balance.

Financial Aid Reminders
Haven't filed your 2025-2026 FAFSA yet? The 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available to complete online at . It is recommended you complete the form as soon as possible as this will give the Financial Aid Office ample time to review the form and notify you if any additional documentation is needed.

Financial Wellness Focus – Managing Debt
Paying off debt can be tough, but with these strategies, you can start making progress.
5 Tips to Help Eliminate Debt
- Tackle High-Interest Debt First: Pay off high-interest debts using the avalanche method to reduce long-term interest.
- Request Lower Interest Rates: Ask your lender for a lower rate based on your good payment history or financial hardship.
- Cut Back on Spending: Trim unnecessary expenses, like dining out or cable, to free up money for debt repayment.
- Boost Your Credit Score: Pay on time, keep balances low, and maintain older accounts to improve your credit score.
- Build an Emergency Fund: Save 3-6 months’ expenses to avoid future debt from unexpected costs.

💡 Tip of the Month
Check your account for holds!
As a reminder, students who have a hold on their account will not be permitted to register for future semesters and/or receive their diploma until their hold has been cleared.
Students can check for holds in Self Service Banner (SSB) via the myÂ鶹´«Ã½ portal. In SSB click on Student > Registration > Registration Status > Select Fall 2025 > Submit.Ìý
If you see a caution sign, you have a hold on your account. Click on View Holds at the bottom of the page for more information. These offices are eager to assist you in addressing your hold.
