This program is not eligible for the On-Campus Accommodations Experience and is a day program Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Do the man-made wonders around you amaze you? Do you ever wonder what needs to be considered when constructing a building, or what keeps planes up in the sky? Do you want to learn how we can design functioning parts of a car, or how batteries work to power electronics? Do you ever wonder how we can separate mixtures of chemicals? It is essential to question how people figure out how to design products and processes to solve real world problems, and in this program, we will give you the ins-and outs of the engineering world to do just that.
Requirements:
Must be entering 6-8th grades for the 2025-26 academic year.
This program is supported financially through grant funding from the Henry Luce Foundation to the University of New Haven’s Women in Engineering program.
