About Allison
My interests are in the area of clinical psychology. More precisely psychopathology, substance abuse among adolescents, and the effects of trauma on children and adolescents.
I have provided investigative and treatment services to children and adolescent victims of abuse as well as therapeutic services to those struggling with substance abuse and/or mental illness.
Past research experiences have focused on children and adolescents who have been victims of abuse and more recently on developing young athletes.
I often utilize my professional experiences to help students develop a broader understanding of the psychology field.
At the University of New Haven, I enjoy teaching undergraduate clinical psychology classes and as Director of the Undergraduate Psychology Internship Program, I enjoy assisting students with experiential learning.
In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, playing soccer, running, and the beach.
