Wayne Edwards is an Emmy award-winning production leader with over fifteen years of experience in Broadcasting and Multi-media Production.
Wayne鈥檚 career began at ESPN leading the live production of professional, collegiate, and amateur sport events. Additionally, he produced content in the roles of Feature Producer, Field Producer, and Post-production Editor. He also aided in the training and development of on-air personalities.

Wayne is currently a Practitioner in Residence at the University of New Haven teaching content production, live broadcasting, sports production streaming and journalism. During his time on campus, the University has won seven New England Regional Student Emmys; he鈥檚 implemented a Sport Communication minor; developed Race, Gender, and Class in the Media and Electronic News Gathering & Reporting courses.
While teaching, Wayne鈥檚 leadership in production continued at New England Public Media where he launched the company鈥檚 first live public affairs show 鈥淎nd Another Thing.鈥 Upon the completion of that project, he moved to Connecticut Public Broadcasting where he is the Coordinating Producer of original artist docuseries 鈥淲here Art Thou?鈥 and 鈥淐utline In The Community,鈥 a town hall-type broadcast covering local public affairs affecting the state.
